If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Flight, so I could drop down out of the sky and scare tourists, like a well dressed drop bear.
Aside from Soulstice, what do you do with your life?
Nothing. Soulstice is love. Soulstice is life. No but really, until the end of this year I've been studying performing arts, but next year I'm enrolled in a flight crew training course at Aviation Australia.
What are your major influences/sources of inspiration?
The selected works of Emily Dickinson. My personal drive to find something I enjoy, which also makes me money.
What is your musical background and how long have you been singing?
I started in music playing the flute, and have been doing so on and off for a decade now, but singing developed alongside that through karaoke nights with my dad, and being a dork and singing really loud in the car with my friends!
What music do you listen to?
Anything from Wagner's Opera's to Eagles of Death Metal. But a particular focus on Jazz and Soul music, artists like The Cat Empire and Shirley Ellis.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Sitting on Wikipedia reading about the design and development of modern aviation.
Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Team Jacob. I am a completely shallow person and his chiselled torso appeals to my shallow side.
Which would you rather wear for a month: bright green crocs or a “<3 Justin Bieber 4 Glee” badge on your chest?
I would leave the country in the cover of night, booking a one way flight to San Juan, where I would start a new life as a street performer named Guerro. My talents would be noticed by the local cartel, who would use me as a mule for their smuggling operations, my singing and dancing persona being too obnoxious to be taken seriously by the lawmen. But my guilty conscience would get the better of me, and I would expose the whole operation, bravely risking my life too free the people from the tyrannical grasp of the cartel! All will rejoice, and proclaim me a national hero, and my fame and popularity, as well as suave foreign relation skills, would see me elected as King of Puerto Rico, where I would rule until my unfortunate boating accident in the Bahamas at the tragic age of 47.
